SCOTT BLUM

A professional athlete who despises athleticism. A natural leader who loathes authority. And your favorite snowboarder’s favorite snowboarder who couldn’t give a flying fuck. Scott Blum is perfect union of contradictory things, and the kinda dude that does those things on his own terms. And that’s why we love him. Catch him in the winter at Mammoth’s minipipe for a handplant clinic, or in the summer on his dirt bike … if you can keep up.

DUSTIN CRAVEN

In 2022, Revelstoke-based Dustin Craven won the Baldface Lodge stop of the Natural Selection tour, further elevating his hometown hero status as one of interior British Columbia’s most respected shredders. But before BC - Alberta Dustin honed his skills in the park and pipe night riding after school. The cold, frozen surfaces of Calgary helped Dustin develop the board control, leg strength and fearless stamina that have to come to define a style of snowboarding that is uniquely his and that allows him to disassembled pillow stacks in some of the worlds most unforgiving terrain.

DUSTY HENRICKSEN

When Dusty Henricksen won X-Games Gold medals in both Knuckle Huck and Slopestyle in 2021- he became the first US male snowboarder to win the Slope event since 2009. The kid’s a new-age freak of nature with an uncanny ability to ride the highest level with seemingly effortless style. Growing up at Big Bear Resort in Southern California, Dusty is part of the area’s lineage of icons who’s riding defined what style means. His contest accolades only give a glimmer into the depth of his unique snowboarding and although it’s the big events that get the attention, it’s the riding in between that often leaves us questioning what’s possible.

FRIDGE

Fridtjof “Fridge” Saether Tischendorf, the always colorful Norwegian who introduced the world to the Knuckle Huck event by winning it’s first ever running at the X Games in 2019, dealt with some injuries last season and was only able to film for a few days. Here’s the short list of what he clipped up : Fakie rodeo 540 nosegrab 50-50 backside 180 out, Double backflip 50-50 180 out, Fakie backside 540 method rewind frontside boardslide… to fakie. Confused? Yeah - us too. But his late season jump-to-rail session destroyed the internet late last season and is a shining example of why he’s often regarded amongst his peers as one of the most inventive riders in the last decade.
